Everything you need to know about hosting Spanish students with Language Link International
More Than Just Hosting
As a host family you are not just providing accommodation - you're developing language skills, creating memories, sharing cultures and often forming life-long friendships.
Your child would be matched with a Spanish buddy of the same gender and similar age who often share comparable hobbies and interests, one month before the start of the programme.
As a host family, you provide a safe, welcoming environment where Spanish students can experience authentic British culture while improving their English. Students become temporary members of your family, participating in daily life, attending your child's school, sharing meals, and creating lasting memories.

Madrid, Valencia and Bilbao Students
Dates: Late June to early July 2027
3 weeks of cultural immersion
Airport Collection
- Arrival: Collect your student from Manchester Airport on their arrival day
- Departure: Return your student to Manchester Airport for their flight home
- We provide exact flight times and meeting point details in advance
School Travel
- Students attend school with your child during the programme
- Option 1: Drive your student to and from school with your own child
- Option 2: Show them how to travel to and from school by public transport, school bus or on foot, alongside your own child.
